Maryknoll Cemetery

Maryknoll Cemetery gates with altar in background 2013.

An area was set aside for a lawn cemetery in 1964 with the first trustees appointed the following year. A simple altar was erected as a focal point in the centre of the cemetery, it now marks the grave of Fr Pooley, founder of Maryknoll.
