GWS Anderson’s scouting career began in 1926 when he started a Troop at Malvern. In 1928 GWS Anderson, together with 4 others purchased the Malvern District Camp at Officer. The name was changed in 1952 to honour the exceptional service given to the Scouts by GWS Anderson and the high esteem they held for him.
