Cardinia Recreation Reserve

On Friday 17 October 1947, ladies paid 2/6d (25c) and gentlemen paid an extra 6d (5c) to attend a Grand Opening Ball at the Cardinia Hall to mark the official opening of the Cardinia Recreation Reserve.

There are a number of trees surrounding the oval with plaques on them for those named on the Honour Board. When we visited in January 2016 we found these, we had not photographed them in 2005.
